Wir berichteten bereits über das Releaseevent zum Kasina x adidas Consortium Superstar Boost,welches Mitte Oktober in Südkoreas Hauptstadt Seoul stattgefunden hat. Aber das war nicht die einzige Kollabo, die der alteingesessene Sneakerstore in letzter Zeit vorzuweisen hatte. Der Schuh kommt in einem klassischen weißen Upper mit einigen nicen Details, wie einem Overbranding auf der Toebox des linken Schuhs und einer 1997 – dem Gründungsjahr von Kasina – auf der Ferse des linken Schuhs.
Das besondere Highlight ist aber das eingestickte “Kasina” an der Stelle, wo sonst “Reebok” steht und das Ersetzen des Union Jack durch die südkoreanische Flagge.
Sehr stylish und sehr clean, ein top Release.

Zum Schuh gab es auch noch einen gelungenen und farblich passenden Tracksuit, sowie ein Longsleeve im Retrolook, was das Release abgerundet hat. Eine wirklich starke Reminiszenz an die Gründerzeit von Kasina.
Natürlich gab es auch free Drinks und musikalische Untermalung durch einen versierten DJ, der später von einem Südkoreanischen Rapper abgelöst wurde, der mit seiner Live-Performance die Besucher begeistern konnte.
Eine wirklich gelungene Veranstalung zu einem absolut runden Release. Das sympathische Team rund um Kasina hat da stark abgeliefert.
